Sega Saturn emulation is poor, with no cross platform, open source emulator with a high degree of game compatibility.
|Name||Operating System(s)||Latest Version||Active||Recommended|
|SSF||Windows||0.12 beta R4||✓||✓|
|Yabause||Windows, Linux, OS X, FreeBSD, Dreamcast, PSP, Wii||0.9.15||✓||✓|
|Mednafen||Multiplatform (64 bit only)||0.9.48||✓||✓|
|Satourne||Windows||2.0 beta 3||✗||✗|
SSF is the only Saturn emulator worth using. However, it is closed source and only for Windows.
Yabause is open source, but far less developed and has more compatibility issues.
Despite being marked as experimental, the new Mednafen Saturn emulator is the most accurate and compatible emulator available. It does need a decently fast machine however.
